Rafinha, born Rafael Alcantara do Nascimento is a Brazilian soccer star who is currently playing for the Qatari-based club, Al-Arabi France, and Brazil national team. The central or attacking midfielder began his club career in Spain with Barcelona in 2011 where he netted 12 goals and recorded 8 assists in 90 games before leaving in 2020 for French giants, Paris Saint-Germain.
The Sao Paulo native has represented both Spain and Brazil at the youth level. But, he later switched allegiance to play for Brazil after Dunga invited him to the senior national team in 2015. He was part of the team that won gold for Brazil at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Mazinho and Valeria Alcantara welcomed their second son on the 12th day of February 1993 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Though he is popularly known as ‘Rafinha’, his real name at birth was Rafael Alcantara do Nascimento.
The 32 years old was raised in a sports-oriented family, where his father played football, his mother played volleyball, his big brother is playing football and his sister Thaisa plied her trade in basketball. His father Mazinho is a midfielder who is well known for winning the 1994 FIFA World Cup with Brazil, while his elder brother Thiago Alcantara now plays for Liverpool FC after emerging via Barcelona’s youth system.
Despite the fact that Rafinha and Thiago Alcantara are brothers, their allegiance lies with different countries. The former represents Brazil, while the latter plays for Spain. A scenario such as this confuses a lot of people who don’t know why the brothers wear national colors.
The truth is Thiago was born in Italy in 1991 when their father was playing for Lecce, whereas Rafinha was born in Brazil during his time with Palmeiras. They both spent their childhood days together in Spain and Brazil.

The PSG attacking midfielder made a huge fortune from football. It is not surprising since he has played and is still playing for one of the richest football clubs in the world. Going by this, his net worth should be above $10 million.
Similarly, he made the money from his club career at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain and also has an endorsement deal with Adidas.
