Raye Hollitt is an actress and bodybuilder who became famous when she was cast as one of the original cast members of the 1980s/90s American Gladiators. She is also popular by her stage name Zap, a name that nobody during that period could forget.

Raye Hollitt was born on April 17, 1964, in the town of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, United States of America. As per her racial background and status, she is American by nationality and belongs to the white ethnic group.
While growing up in her lake neighborhood of Pennsylvania, her parents whose occupation was music introduced her to all kinds of music which ranges from AC/DC to hard rock, and Skynyrd, and country. That became her first interest before she later decided to switch to dance music as her taste for music changed after she grew older and moved to Los Angeles.
For her educational background, she attended the Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School which is located in Lehman Township. While there, she loved and participated in so many sporting activities ranging from softball, basketball, volleyball, field hockey, and others. She went on to become a track and field state champion.
She would later join bodybuilding to the things she loved after she met and fell in love with a guy who at the time was also a bodybuilder and was preparing for the Mr. Universe competition. As he prepared, she would follow him to the gym where she soon started lifting weight, gradually falling in love with bodybuilding. She later competed in the Mr. and Ms. Pennsylvania where she eventually won as Ms. Pennsylvania. It was from there that she got the push to go into bodybuilding.
As earlier mentioned, Raye began to gain more attention as she was attracting the eyes of movie producers and directors. It wasn’t surprising that she got to feature in a good number of movies, TV shows, and front cover of some magazines.
She has featured in a good number of movies portraying different roles and characters in movies such as the 1987’s Penitentiary lll, Skin Deep (1989), The Last Hour (1991), and Hot Shots amongst others. That wasn’t all; she featured in several magazine covers from the 1980s to the 1990s which include Women’s Physique (1988), Musclemag International (1993) and Muscular Development (1994), just to mention a few.
From all indications, Raye is someone that can be tagged as a woman that is full of potential and very versatile. This is because her interest also lies in TV shows. She made appearances in some episodes of TV shows such as Family Feud (1993/94), Baywatch (1992), and Muppets Tonight (1997).

Raye Hollitt once has a husband named Ted Prior whom she got married to in 1990. But reports revealed that they got separated in 1992. However, Ted was born on the 9th of August 1959 in Newark, New Jersey, the United States of America. He is also a popular figure who is also into the business of acting, producing, modeling and bodybuilding. He has featured in some movies such as Sledgehammer (1983), Hell On Battleground (1989), Double Threat (1993), and the Deadliest Prey (2003), among so many others.
Although their marriage only lasted a couple of years, it was still blessed with a daughter, Teddi Rae Prior who is an actress and a director. That said, she does not have many movies to her credit as an actress.

The versatile actress and bodybuilder have a very athletic and muscular body frame and structure. She is not the tallest woman you will find, having a height of 5 feet 6 inches (168cm). More so, she has a body weight of 77kg (170Ibs).
