The player was later announced on September 1, 2022, to be going on a one-year loan to FC Groningen. Consequently, his salary at FC Groningen is €16,145 weekly and €840,000 yearly. More so, he has a market value of €9 million in October 2022. His highest market value was pegged at €10 million in March 2022.
