Rodney Peete went to Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Arizona for some years, and later proceeded to Shawnee Mission High School in Overland Park, Kansas in the USA to finish high school. He played three sports excellently well in high school – baseball, football, and basketball, and was captain of each sports team. He was really good in baseball that he was to be drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, but he declined it and went on to study at the University of South California, Los Angeles CA.

The foundation is set up to help find a cure for Autism and Parkinson’s diseases, it also seeks to provide support and assistance for people living with these two conditions. Rodney and Holly also co-founded the HollyRod4Kids Foundation in 2004, and it is still operational today.
