He started his career in 2006 when he fought in the Heartland Wrestling Association. He would continue to take part in many competitions in his early years in the promotion but would not record any success. Within the same period, 2006 to 2011, he was also fighting in the Insanity Pro Wrestling.
In 2012, Callihan won the Best of the Best tournament and in 2013 he was signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and picked a ring name, Solomon Crowe. Callihan was released from WWE contract in November 2015 and in December that year, he signed with Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG) where he defeated Drew Gulak in the All-Star Weekend 11.
Currently, Callihan’s major appearance is in ‘Impact Wrestling’ and ‘Major League Wrestling’ (MLW). In his career so far, Callihan recorded his major achievements in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). Some of his striking achievements in CZW include; the 25th October 2009 Ultraviolent Underground Championship where Callihan defeated Danny Havoc. Also, in the November 2011 CZW World Junior Heavyweight Championship, Calinhan defeated Adam Cole. On the 14th of February, 2009 CZW Iron man/ New Horror Championship title, Callihan defeated Brain Damage to win the CZW Iron man/ New Horror Championship title. In April 2012, Callihan won the Best of the Best title in Voorhees, New Jersey.
As much as Callihan is celebrated, he is also disregarded at some point in time for what people term as infamous acts and controversies especially when he used an errant swing of a baseball bat to Eddie Edwards’ face during a wrestling match but in his defense, Callihan was quoted telling Newsday that ‘No one can truly know what happened except me and Eddie’. Later on, Callihan made available T-shirts for sale with the inscription ‘I broke Eddie’s face’. And still defended him by saying ‘…. If this is professional wrestling, I’m doing nothing wrong’. Callihan has reiterated that he didn’t break Eddie’s face on purpose. With all the controversies going round, Callihan doesn’t seem to be distracted as he was quoted saying ‘… that’s what makes me special … I am unpredictable’ amidst the controversy.
