Although not much is known about the parents of the midfielder, his father, Mohammed Amrabat was born in Morocco where he had his elementary education before leaving the North African country for the Netherlands. His mother on the other hand is not clear who she is, but is also of Moroccan descent.
Amrabat is not the only child in his family; he has other siblings, but the notable one is his older brother, Noureddine “Nordin” Amrabat (37), born on March 31, 1987, in Naarden, Netherlands.
