Steve Spagnuolo is an American football coach who works with the National Football League (NFL).

He served as an assistant coach for Andy Reid, Tom Coughlin, John Harbaugh, and Ben McAdoo before eventually becoming head coach.

He was the head coach of St. Louis Ram where he worked for three seasons putting the Rams at 10-38-0 from the 2009 to 2011 seasons. While here, he coached Sam Bradford to the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Steve has been the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs and he started working as their coordinator in 2019. During this period, the Chiefs had an outstanding performance.

Steven Christopher Spagnuolo was born in the Whitinsville section of Northbridge, Massachusetts on the 21^st of December 1959. He moved to Grafton where he graduated from high school.

He played as Wide Receiver at Springfield College and was named ‘Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year’ in 1982. Steve’s career started while he was pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Management. During that period, he assisted the University of Massachusetts’ coach.

He was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants for four seasons and began his NFL career coaching in the Philadelphia Eagles organization in 1999. He worked there for eight years as lines and defensive backs coach.

He has the award and title for leading his team to win the Super Bowl XLII against the New England Patriots.

Steve is married to Maria Spagnuolo after meeting on a blind date several years ago. This blind date was set up by his friends and although Steve wasn’t psyched about the idea, he eventually caved in.

He met with Maria and they obviously had a thing for each other but Steve being old-fashioned took ample time before making a move.

For the first two dates they both went on, they had company and were on group dates. On their third date, however, they were finally alone.

Maria was a very hardworking hairdresser and Steve’s parents had no qualms with Maria and quickly accepted her showering praises on her.
