Toni Duggan is an English footballer who plays in forward or wing position for Barcelona, as well as England women’s national football team. She has also played for Everton Ladies and Manchester City FC. Although she is a big Red fan and wanted to play for Liverpool ever since she was a little child, she never actually got to play for the club and has enjoyed fulfilling careers at other clubs.

The athlete has received a number of awards and praise for her skill and talent. Toni Duggan Biography and Age

Toni was born on July 25, 1991, in Liverpool, England, to a mother named Joanne. Toni is 55 years old at present. She began playing football as a child with a group of boys who belonged to a team called the Jellytots. She went to high school at Notre Dame Catholic College, before moving on to Loughborough College from where she graduated in 2010.

Toni Duggan began playing for Everton Ladies in 2007 after their regular strikers suffered injuries. She went on to score the winning goal, allowing Everyone to qualify for the FA Women’s Premium League Cup final. The following year, she was named FA Women’s Young Player of the Year. In 2010, she led her team to the FA Women Cup final, beating Arsenal to the title. Her form reached its peak during the 2011 season, leading to her being called up to join the senior England squad. She was also named the 2012 England Women’s Under-23 Player of the Year and 2013 North West Female Player of the Year.

After spending seven seasons at Everton, Toni signed with Manchester City in 2014. She did not rest on her oars but immediately began showing off her talent. She was the first female player at the club to receive the Goal of the Season award after she scored a stunner against Chelsea in the WSL. She also played in the Women’s Champions League, the club’s very first time in the league, scoring a phenomenal goal in the game against Brøndby.

Toni joined FC Barcelona Femeni in 2017 and plays for them till date.

She made her first international appearance for England in March 2007, as a 15-year-old, scoring on her debut at the Under–17s. She went on to represent England at the Under–19, Under–20, and Under–23 levels

She was part of the team that helped England secure third place at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada. A reception was held to congratulate them at the Kensington Palace hosted by Prince William.

Toni has been caught in a storm of controversy twice in her career. The first time was in 2014 after she blacked up for a party so she could impersonate the black actress Whoopi Goldberg from Sister Act. She later apologized for this unfortunate action. About a year later, she was angered a lot of City fans who wanted her to be dropped from the team because she posted a picture where she was smiling with Louis Van Gaal, Manchester United’s coach shortly after they defeated City. Once again, she apologized and all was forgiven.

She also represented her country at the SheBelieves Cup playing 3 games in 2016 and scoring 1 goal, 2 games in 2017 and scoring no goals, and 3 games in 2018 and scoring 1 goal. Finally, she appeared in 7 games during the 2017 FIFA Women’s World Cup UEFA qualifiers, where she scored 4 goals in total.

In 2017, her granddad drove 360 miles to surprise the English striker from Liverpool to Bristol. In order to reciprocate the gesture, she recorded a hat-trick to help Manchester City Women as they defeated Bristol City Women in the Super League Spring Series game.

Toni Duggan is still a single woman and hasn’t been hitched yet. Details about her relationship are not readily available to the public, however, she was rumored to be dating Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero. She denied these reports claiming they were ridiculous, explaining that they just played for the same club and nothing more. She doesn’t appear to be dating anyone at the moment.
