The tennis player’s mother, Alla Azarenka is also associated with the sport. She worked at a small tennis club in Minsk. It was because of her influence that Victoria was first introduced to the sport. At the age of 7, she gave the tennis star a racquet and even gave her specifics on how to hit the ball against the wall.

Due to Alla’s influence, little Victoria had the privilege of meeting Nikolai Khabibulin, a National Hockey League goalie, which aided her to start a career in tennis.

Victoria Azarenka has never been married. However, she has been in a long-term relationship with her former boyfriend, Billy McKeague. The relationship produced a son, Leo, who was born on December 19, 2016.

After the pair split in 2017, they were caught in a long custody battle that caused the athlete to withdraw from the remaining 2017 tournaments. The case was ruled in favor of Victoria.

Aside from her baby daddy, Victoria has been involved romantically with other men. Her earliest known relationship is with Sergei Bubka Jr, whom she dated between 2011 and 2012. He is the son of pole vaulting champion, Sergei Bubka.

Subsequently, she began dating American musician, Stefan Kendal also known as Redfoo, in 2012. The relationship seemed to be going on well until the couple decided to go their separate ways in 2014, due to their busy schedules

The professional athlete moved on and started a relationship with a fellow tennis player, Humberto Lobo Guerra in 2019. At the time she was in court battling the custody of her son. The relationship caused a lot of internet uproar because Humberto was just 20 years at the time which made him 10 years younger than the 1989-born Belarusian athlete.

Shortly after, they broke up and the athlete has remained single ever since and focused on raising her son, Leo, or at least, that is what it looks like.

Victoria Fyodarauna Azarenka is a Belarusian professional tennis player. She was born on July 31, 1989, in Minsk, Byelorussian USSR. At the age of 15, she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to train. There she was assisted by National Hockey League player, Nikolai Khabibulin, and his wife, who was a friend of her mother.

She started her career in 2003 and over time, she has won 21 Women’s Tennis Association singles titles, including 2 Grand Slams in the 2012 and 2013 Australian Open, making her the first Belarusian tennis player to win the tournament. She has also won 9 WTA doubles including 2 premier Mandatory and 2 Premier 5 titles.

In March 2022, Azarenka conveyed her heartbreak concerning the happenings in Ukraine and Russia. She expressed her sadness over the role that the Belarusian people played in the Ukrainian invasion. The tennis player revealed that Belarusians and Ukrainians have always been friendly and supportive of one another and how hard it is to watch the violence and lack of compassion going on between the 2 parties.

While some face disapproval from their parents for their choice of career, this Belarusian tennis player enjoys the biggest support from them, and having her son by her side while breaking all the bounds makes it so heartwarming and delightful.
