Allen Henderson Introduced His Kids to Sports

After relocating to Selma, Alabama, and observing the dearth of baseball fields there, Allen made the decision to build one on his land.

Kerry Henderson was a Crimson Tide Supporter
Before she met Allen, Gunna’s mother, Kerry Henderson, supported the Crimson Tide. Kerry also used to support the University of Alabama athletic team before switching to the Auburn Tigres. In addition to her sportsmanship, Kerry is renowned for helping her children learn respect and morals.

Jackson Henderson
The Hendersons’ first kid is Jackson. He was conceived four years ahead of his famous brother Gunnar. The siblings competed against one another in football, baseball, basketball, and soccer as children. Jackson, the oldest of the three, was the first to receive instruction from his father, Allen, and he spent his high school years as a member of the John T. Morgan Academy squad. According to accounts, he was even selected as the team MVP and an AISA All-Star in 2015 and 2016.
More so, Jackson joined Auburn University in 2019 after attending Laurleen B. Wallace Community College. He was a pinch hitter for Auburn and made his debut for the Tigers on February 16, 2019. However, Jackson did not carry on with baseball professionally.
Gunnar Henderson
As you will easily find, Gunnar Randal Henderson 24, is an American professional baseball third baseman and shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and grew up in Selma, Alabama where he attended John T. Morgan Academy and played basketball and baseball. Henderson committed to play college baseball at Auburn University during his sophomore season. He went pro in 2019. Furthermore, Gunnar made his MLB debut in 2022 after the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the second round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft with the 42nd overall pick.
Cade Henderson
The youngest child of Allen and Kerry is Cade Henderson. He aspires to play baseball and is an avid supporter of his brother’s team, the Baltimore Orioles. Cade happens to be a utility player at Morgan Academy High School and Gunnar is confident that his younger brother would follow in his footsteps and become a renowned baseball player in the nearest future.
