Karen Elizabeth Carabajal was born on June 24, 1989, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she grew up with her two brothers, cousins, and grandparents.

Karen has recorded a victory over other fighters such as Flavia Gimena Quintero, Cintia Gisela Castillo, Maria Soledad Capriolo, Lorena Edith Agoutborde, and Silvia Fernanda Zacarias. Her losses were against British and Irish fighters, Rhiannon Dixon and Katie Taylor, respectively.
Karen previously held an undefeated record of 19-0 fights until she was defeated by Kathy Taylor in 2022 at the Wembley Arena. It was Karen’s first fight outside Argentina and one of her biggest fights since her career started.
