50 Cent’s Children: Meet Marquise Jackson And Sire Jackson

Marquise Jackson and Sire Jackson are the two children of American rapper, 50 Cent. The boys were born from different mothers and have an age difference of about 15 years between them.

Safe for the blood ties Marquise and Sire have, they do not seem to share any other form of relationship. 50 Cent’s children both have varying relationships with their famous father.

While Sire, age 12 years have a good bond and relationship with Curtis, the same cannot be said about Marquise (27).

Marquise, despite not having a good rapport with his father, has taken up entertainment as well. He is a rapper who has a song ‘Different’ about his (lack of) relationship with his father.

50 Cent’s Children Have Two Different Mothers

The American rapper also known as ‘50’, has never been married. Nonetheless, he has had quite a number of relationships over the past years. From two of these relationships, Curtis Jackson had two children – the boys this article is dedicated to.

Jackson III’s first son, Marquise Diamond Jackson, was born from Curtis’ relationship with Shaniqua Tompson. He was born on October 13, 1997, in California, United States of America.

This was just a few years before 50 Cent’s first single ‘How to Rob’ propelled him to stardom in 1999.

Shaniqua was one of the rapper’s earliest girlfriends and their relationship started in 1994. With her then-boyfriend’s fame and success, the relationship between the couple went sour. Over the years, 50 Cent and Shaniqua have been at each other’s throats; always bashing themselves whenever an opportunity presents itself.

After the relationship with her, Tompson’s baby daddy had other notable relationships. The ‘In da Club’ singer dated celebrities such as Meagan Good (2002-2003), Vivica. A. Fox, and Daphne Joy.

Daphne is a well-known model in the United States of America. She and Curtis’ relationship lasted for just a year (2011-2012) and the year it ended, the couple welcomed the rapper’s second son. Sire was born on September 01, 2012.

From his father’s relationship with Daphne Joy, Marquise was made an older brother. At about the age of 15, Diamond’s younger brother, 50 Cent’s second son, Sire Jackson was born.

The relationship between the then-lovers was not so good when they were together as there were claims of domestic violence.

At the end of Sire’s mother’s relationship with his father, 50 Cent faced a 3-year probation period. The rapper pleaded guilty to a 1-count charge of vandalism and domestic violence against Daphne.

About 50 Cent’s Relationship with His Son, Marquise Jackson

Being the first child of the ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper, Marquise had a strained relationship with his father from the age of 10. Though his birth changed his father’s outlook on life, he never got to really enjoy the father-son bond.

50 Cent who had the name of his firstborn tattooed on his biceps, lost custody of the boy after a court case went in favor of his ex-girlfriend.

The sole custody of Marquise was given to Shaniqua, his mother, and James Jackson was only allowed to see him one weekend every month. Additionally, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend sued him for $50 million at the end of the relationship, claiming that he promised to take care of her for life.

With the custody arrangement, the father and son could barely spend time together. 50 had just begun to make waves as a musician and had a very busy schedule at the time. In the wake of all these, there was barely any relationship between them.

Curtis even admitted that his first son was an inspiration to his career. Marquise was also a motivating factor in the rapper’s decision of choosing a better life. However, upon his parent’s final separation in 2008, the young boy lost his connection with his father.

Over the years, both father and son have bickered and called each other out in the media. 50 said in 2018, that he wouldn’t have a bad day if a bus hits his son because of a snap that surfaced of his son hanging out with the son of the rapper’s rival.

In another outburst, the Queens-born celebrity stated that he would take Tekashi 6ix9ine over his first son.

On the other hand, the 27-year-old who initially saw his father as a superhero, began to think differently as he grew. According to him, he started realizing things he was oblivious to.

The relationship with them was so bad that they could go on for years without speaking to each other. Marquise who is also called ’25 Cents’ has been quite bitter towards his father and has not hidden his displeasure.

This may have been birthed from his parent’s continuous feud which has lasted for over a decade.

Sire Jackson Has a Good Relationship with His Father

In another light, 50 Cent and his second son, 12-year-old Sire, have a good relationship. The relationship is so good, many believe it is the rapper’s way of fixing up from his bad relationship with Marquise.

Just like with Shaniqua, Curtis’ relationship with Daphne is not so good, though. The 49-year-old rapper has also called her out a couple of times because of her presumed relationship with his rival, Puff Daddy.

Despite that, 50 Cent loves to spend time and money on his second son. He is quite proud of the young celebrity whose fame began at the young age of 2.

When Sire Jackson, 50 Cent’s second son was 2 years old, he bagged a modeling deal with ‘Kidz Safe’ headphones. This deal was worth about $700,000. His father was quick to share this news with the audience on Power 105.1 FM during an interview.

When it comes to spending money on Sire, Curtis James Jackson III spares no change. He had a trust fund set up quite early for Sire because he wanted his second son to enjoy wealth and fortune when he is older.

In 2019, the $40 million worth American rapper spent $100,000 in renting the entire Toys R Us store for Sire Jackson to shop. Daphne, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend posted a couple of pictures of the holiday surprise with lovely captions on her Instagram.

Apart from spending so much on his second son and being proud of him, Jackson III never tires to gush over how cute his son is. He posts several images of Sire during holidays and his birthdays.

Sire, a 4th grader, was even cast for the first time, in his father’s 2022 horror flick movie titled Skill House.

Does Marquise Jackson Want to Repair His Relationship with His Father?

It was in 2017 that Rapper 25 Cents released the diss track ‘Different’ for his father. Two years later, his father publicly disowned him on Instagram in a response to a fan’s comment.

The first son of 50 Cent, in October of 2022 stated that the $6,700 his father paid in monthly child support was not enough. During an interview with ‘Choke No Joke’, the young rapper stated that for a boy growing up in New York, the child support disbursed by his father couldn’t take care of his needs.

The conversation went viral to the point where Marquise has received several backlashes for what has been termed ‘ingratitude’.

The first-born son of Curtis Jackson has revealed that he is willing to pay his father $6,700 in order to get 24 hours of his time. This is in reference to the fact that he lost a lot of years of being estranged from his Grammy-award-winning father.

This revelation was made in the caption of the Instagram post where Marquise was seen seated next to the word ‘Entitled’ which was spelled out with $100 notes.

Indirectly responding to the post, the rapper who was shot 9 times earlier in his life, posted a scene from his TV show ‘Power’. The scene posted was of when Kanan kills his own son and the rapper cum actor captioned the clip ‘No Captions Needed’.
