Chris born Christine McKendry was born on the 18th of February 1968 in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Not much is known about her parents and early life as she has kept that part of life as a secret. She attended The Archbishop Ryan High School and is said to be a very good student. She got admission into Drexel University and was given a scholarship based on the fact that she was a very good tennis player. As a University student, she was on her dean’s scholar list for three years and graduated with a degree in the Humanities.
Upon graduation, Chris started working with WLJA-TV and American Broadcasting Commission (ABC) where she held the post of a sports reporter. In 1996, she became a sports anchor. She then moved to ESPN news but would go to the Sports Centre to work as a cohost for the weekend morning and weekday at 6pm.
She has also been a night host for the Wimbledon open coverage on ESPN, she has covered big sporting events such as the U.S open. She was also a reporter for the ESPN and ABC for the FIFA women’s world cup and she recently got the role of a columnist for the ESPN website. She has also worked as a correspondent for TBS and TNT.
She has also worked as a host for other sporting events such as the college football playoff championship, The little league World Series and Upcoming Scripps Spelling Bee amongst others.
