Gavin Tucker was born on June 17, 1986, in Ship Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. He is 38 years old now.

He inked a contract with the American MMA promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in early 2017. In February 2017, he made his UFC promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 105, defeating Sam Sicilia by unanimous decision.

Tucker has never lost a fight in the cage since turning professional in 2011, but that changed six years later. On September 9, 2017, American MMA fighter Ricky Glenn defeated him by a unanimous decision, ending his unbeaten streak.
