3. College career
Graham Harrell was redshirted in 2004 during his first season at Texas Tech. He has a record of throwing 38 touchdowns and 4,555 passing yards, the third-most by a sophomore in NCAA Division I FBS history and the most ever thrown by a sophomore in the history of the Big 12.
Throughout his junior season in college, he had a 71.8% completion percentage throwing for 5, 705 yards and 48 touchdowns.
During his senior season, he had 89 career passing touchdowns, putting him within range of Colt Brennan’s NCAA record of 131 touchdowns.
4. Graham Harrell was undrafted in 2009
After his senior season at Texas Tech, Graham Harrell entered the 2009 NFL Draft but he was undrafted. He signed a two-year plus an option contract with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
He was later released from CFL in other to pursue his career at NFL. On May 19, 2010, Harrell signed with the Green Bay Packers.
After a not-so-successful career at Packers, Harrell got signed to the New York Jets on August 28, 2013. He played during the Jet’s final 2013 preseason game before he was released on September 2, 2013.

Graham Harrell started his coaching career at Oklahoma State. He later left to play football in Canada but still came back again. When he came back, he joined the coaching team at Washington State.
At Washington State, he was given the position of offensive analyst. In February 2015, he replaced Dennis Simmons and was named the football program’s outside receivers coach.
After serving as the offensive coordinator for Tar Heels in 2018, Harrell was later hired by USC as their new offensive coordinator.
