Jade Moore was born on the 22nd day of October in the year 1990. She was born in Worksop, the largest town in the Bassetlaw district of Nottinghamshire, England. It was also here that she grew up. Jade took interest in football and started playing it since her childhood. However, when was 16 years old and had started attending college, she had a heart screening and the results showed that she had some holes in her heart. She was consequently advised by the doctor not to continue in sports until after her surgery. She eventually underwent surgery and resumed training just two weeks afterwards.
For the records, Jade attended the Leeds Metropolitan University before she accepted a scholarship into the Loughborough University, offered to her by the Football Association. She graduated in 2013.
Jade Moore Professional Football Career
Jade Moore kicked off her professional football career with Doncaster Rovers Belles where she played under the youth team until in 2005 when she left the club for Lincoln City. However, her stay with City spanned only two years.
By 2007, Jade had joined Leeds United where she helped the team to advance to the FA Women’s Cup playoffs but the team suffered a defeat by Arsenal thus, finishing at 2nd place in the competition that season. However, she was among the Leeds squad that won the 2010 Premiere League Cup after thrashing Everton 3-1. It was the club’s first major title.
Afterwards, Jade Moore was signed by Birmingham City in December 2010 where she played in the 2012 FA Women’s Cup Finals and helped the club to win the trophy as they defeated Chelsea Ladies through penalty shootout.
Jade opted out of the team to be a free agent in 2016 before she joined Notts County under a short-term contract that lasted only to the completion of the 2016 FA WSL season.
Following the abrupt folding up of Notts County in 2017, again Jade became a free agent, before signing another contract with Reading in May 2017, she has been playing for Reading since then till this moment.
International Career
At the international level, Jade Moore has played for her home country England from a young age. By the age of 15, Jade had joined the England National Women’s U-17 team and then advanced into the U-19 squad with which she played in the 2009 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship which England later won after defeating Sweden during the finals in Belarus.
Subsequently, Jade joined the U-20 where she featured in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup of 2008 as well as that of 2010.
Jade’s performance in the Junior National teams soon earned her a spot in the senior England National team. She won her first senior cap when she played in the match against Finland during Cyprus Cup in February 2012. It was in this same competition that Jade scored her first goal for the National team in the match with Italy which England won 3-1 and it was the third place playoffs of the tournament.
Also, Jade was named in the line-up for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2013, however, she was not given the chance to play in the tournament until England was eliminated in the first round of the competition.
On assumption to office of the newly appointed England coach, Mark Sampson, he saw the need to name Jade among his first line-up for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup alongside naming her in the squad for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 which was her third consecutive international tournament.
Jade is among the England squad playing in the 2019, FIFA Women’s World Cup.

After her successful heart surgery, Jade Moore decided to open up her sports therapy outfit upon graduation from college. Jade has always appreciated her football career saying that it saved her life.
