Man United Fans are excited with the news of Paul Pogba’s rumored open talks with PGS for a possible move in the summer as his contract with the Old Trafford outfit expires at the end of 2021/22 season.
His possible departure and links with PSG generated a lot of reactions from the fans of the club, with the majority eager to see him leave.
Others see the huge salary he earns at the club as undeserving considering the fact that he doesn’t put in his best whenever he plays.
The 31 year-old French midfielder first joined United’s youth academy in July 2009, gained promotion to the first team in February 2011, he left the club in July 2012 for the Italian side, Juventus, where he became a key member of Seria A side.
In 2016, Manchester United re-signed the world cup winner for a then highest club-record transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million), a record that has been broken by the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, and Neymar who currently holds the record for his €222 million transfer from Barcelona to PGS in August 2017.
The 6-year contract sees him earning a weekly salary of £290, 000, thus becoming one of the club’s top earners alongside, David De Gea, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Verane who were recent additions.
A cloud of uncertainty surrounds his future with the “Red Devils” as his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, and he is yet to engage the club for a new offer, however, the club is reportedly planning to make him EPL’s highest-paid player.

United Is Willing To Pay Pogba £500,000 Weekly
According to various reports, Manchester United is offering the former Juventus midfielder a new deal that would see him earn £500,000 weekly. The club feels this is the best offer he could get from teams in Europe.
This is to prevent him from leaving the club as a free agent in the summer since his contract with United would end on 1st July 2022. Although he is yet to agree to any new terms as reportedly offered by United.
Since his days are numbered, the French midfielder has been linked to a number of clubs including Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG.
The Alleged New Deal is Causing Dressing Room Roar
The £500,000 weekly salary the club intends to pay the French midfielder when he agrees to their new offer seems to be unacceptable to the club’s players, reports say.
As a result of this, the dressing room is backlashing the club for the offer which the players see as ridiculous, underserving of a player who is not disciplined enough in play and doesn’t mind belittling the club in the slightest.
