Her husband is a pundit on radio and television in addition to being a former football player and manager. Neil Warnock’s Family Remains the most Important Part of His Life
Neil has enjoyed a very long successful coaching career in the world of sports, such that whenever his name is mentioned, his coaching career is the first to come to mind. Moreover, the 76-year-old has stated that his family is the most important part of his life.
Meanwhile, the renowned coach revealed that his career has had an effect on his family life, especially in terms of moving from one place to the other. According to him, his son William had 4 public schools at the age of 9. He also said that since 1968, he never had more than a few weeks out of work and when he left Sheffield United, he never had a Christmas.
Interestingly, on 9 April 2022, Sharon’s husband announced his retirement from management after 42 years in the dugout. However, he came out of retirement on 13 February 2023 after he was appointed manager of Huddersfield Town until the end of the 2022–23 season. He officially took charge of the club, cutting short a holiday in the USA to return to management. Neil also extended his Huddersfield Town contract by a further year on June 14, 2023. There were fears that Sharon might not be pleased with her husband’s choice to go back to work as he had earlier claimed he was looking forward to spending more time with his wife and the rest of his family in his retirement. But Sharon doesn’t seem to have issues with her husband’s decision. On the contrary, it is reported that Sharon gave her husband her blessings for him to return to coaching at the age of 76.
