Anatoly Lomachenko is the 14-year-old son of the professional boxer, ‘The Matrix’. He was born on November 11, 2011, and named after Vasiliy’s father, Anatoly Lomachenko who is the boxer’s trainer and motivation.
History has it that the older Anatoly is the reason Vasiliy is the world-recognized boxer he is today. But for his father, he wouldn’t have had such an outstanding amateur career in the MMA, won Gold and Silver medals at the Olympics, and compete in professional rings.
Visiliy’s first child and son was named in honor of the 1964-born selection for the 2017 Futch-Condon Award. Anatoly was selected to receive the award for Trainer of the Year (2017) by the Boxing Writers Association of America. In the next year, he was also selected for the same award by the Ring Magazine.
Further emphasizing how much the boxer’s trainer is important to him, Vasiliy has a tattoo of his father’s face on his torso.

Viktoriia Lomechenko was born on July 23, 2013, and unlike her brother, she hasn’t made a lot of appearances on her father’s social media pages. Similarly, there isn’t any hint yet to tell if she would be towing an athletic path or not.
