Chris Sabo is a man of success not just in his baseball career as a former player and present head coach of Akron but in his marriage with Susan Joyce since 1989. His years in baseball is accompanied by titles such as being a 3x All-Star, 1990 World Series champion, 1988 NL Rookie of the Year, and an inductee into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.

His career dates back to 1983 when he made it to the list of Cincinnati Reds for Major League Baseball, many thought Chris Sabo was only a young energetic, and skillful baseball player. But it didn’t take so much time for him to become the figure of Cincinnati’s future. He further moved to Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Cardinals as a player. It was only a matter of time for Sabo to shoulder Dayton Dragons as its coach and currently Akron as a head coach.

Chris Sabo married Susan Joyce in 1989. Because of the privacy of her life, there is few to no details about her.

Nevertheless, there is another Susan Joyce Sabo who is a physician. What is not known is if she is his wife or it is just the coincidence of name.

Since he rarely talks about his personal life, the public has no either why the marriage has lasted this long, especially in an era where divorce is not uncommon. Regardless, it is detectable that the marriage may have lasted because of mutual work towards its survival apart from love, understanding, and connection.

Annie like her father has talent as an athlete. But instead of choosing baseball, she played soccer and tennis. She then got a scholarship to attend the University of Michigan where she completed her education in 2015. She is currently a sports reporter who works with Big Ten Network after her jobs at KRIS in Corpus Christi, Texas; WFLA-TV, Tampa, Florida; and Bally Sports North.

In her career where at present she serves as a part of the B 1 G Tailgate show, she has made several coverages that include the 2018 Winter Olympics, Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As per her personal life, she is currently engaged to Kevin Roy – a professional golfer.

Brooke Sabo is A Property Manager

Brooke is the second daughter of Chris and is currently a property manager who provides services such as leasing, property management, sales and event planning. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University.

Olivia Played Was A Part of Ursuline Tennis Team

She has a talent for tennis and made it to the team of the Ursuline Academy tennis in 2014 and 2015.

How Chris Sabo Made A Successful Career in Playing Baseball

He was born Christopher Andrew Sabo on January 19 1962 in Detroit, Michigan.

Sabo grew up playing hockey but then decided to concentrate more on baseball. In no time, his love and technique grew and landed him a successful career in high school at Detroit Catholic Central High School from 1978 to 1980. He also had a spot to play college baseball in Michigan from 1981 to 1983.

In 1983, Cincinnati Reds drafted Chris Sabo. In 1988, his skill in hitting runs, RBI among others grew massively that he won the National League Rookie of the Year title. In 1990 and 1991, he became an All-Star.

Along the line in his career, he played for Baltimore Orioles in 1994, progressed to Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals in 1995. In 1996, he returned to Cincinnati Reds where he earned the description of a great teammate and player, as well as a probably underrated star.

One cannot overemphasize the contribution of Sabo as a player as it was visible that he was tough, played with passion till the very end, and watched himself become a GOAT in the game. All these did not come without challenges but Sabo among them won trophies and allowed himself to become one the most decorated baseball players ever in the Reds.
