Irene Aldana was born on March 26, 1988, in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. She is currently 36 years old. Two years after turning pro, Aldana signed with Invicta FC in the middle of 2014. On September 9, 2014, at Invicta FC 8: Waterson vs. Tamada, she faced Peggy Morgan and won via rear-naked choke.
On December 5, 2014, Aldana was scheduled to fight Marion Reneau at Invicta FC 10: Waterson vs. Tiburcio, but she was forced to withdraw due to an illness, consequently, the fight was removed from the program.
