Throughout his 28 ABA League games for the team, he averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game.

Lawawu-Cabarrot played for Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2018-19 season before he joined the Chicago Bulls on February 1, 2019. He was traded with cash considerations in exchange for a protected 2020 second-round draft.
He was waived after he played two preseason games with the Cleveland Cavaliers training camp in September 2019.
